What the macOS client supports

Understand the focused Mac client, its availability, and when to use the web app.

2 min read · Updated September 14, 2026

The native macOS client is a focused internal build, not a full copy of the web app. It is not currently offered through an approved public download or public beta, and its internal build targets macOS 14 or later.

Implemented Mac workflows

  • Choose Sign in to authenticate in the browser and return to the app.
  • Use Library, Inbox, category filters, and search to browse Vault.
  • Upload files with the app's upload command or by dropping files from Finder, then follow the visible upload progress.
  • Select a document to preview it or download the original file.
  • Use Trash to review and manage deleted documents.

Good to know

Use the web app for the complete customer experience. The Mac client does not claim parity with mobile or web features such as camera scanning, Notes, Chat, sharing administration, e-signature workflows, or full organization administration.

Tip

See Apps and downloads for the current Mac availability statement and requirements.
