Check mobile upload processing
Tell the difference between a completed transfer, work in progress, and a processing failure.

The Uploaded confirmation means the file transfer finishes and the document is in Vault. Preview generation and text extraction can continue on the server afterward.
- 1Open Vault and choose the uploaded document.
- 2If the preview says This file is still being processed., leave the document in Vault and check it again after processing has time to finish.
- 3In the document details, read Text extraction. In progress means search text is not ready, and Searchable means extraction succeeds.
- 4Use Download when the file type has no in-app preview but the document is otherwise available.
When processing fails
- This file could not be processed. means the server cannot prepare the preview for that upload.
- Text extraction: Failed means the file remains in Vault, but its contents are not searchable.
- Confirm the original file opens on your device, then upload a fresh copy. If the fresh copy also fails, contact support@stoatify.com with the document title and the visible error. Do not email the document unless support explicitly requests it through an approved route.
