Closing your account and deleting data
Permanently delete documents, delete a team organization, or close your account.

You're in control of your data, including removing it. Here's exactly how deletion works.
Delete documents for good
- Deleting a document moves it to Trash; emptying Trash permanently removes the file bytes from storage, not just the record.
- This is the way to make sure specific documents are truly gone.
Delete a team organization
An Owner can delete a team organization from its settings, which removes the organization and everyone's access to it. If you also want its documents permanently erased, delete them and empty Trash first. Your personal vault can't be deleted, it's your own private space.
Close your account
To close your Stoatify account entirely, email support@stoatify.com and we'll take care of it.
Good to know
Before deleting an organization or closing an account, export anything you want to keep. Deletion is permanent.
