A share link lets anyone with the URL open a single document, no Stoatify account required. You choose how long it lives and whether a password is needed, and you can revoke it the instant you change your mind.
Create a link
- 1Open the document and choose Share.
- 2Optionally set a password and an expiry date.
- 3Copy the link and send it however you like.
- The link always resolves to the current version of the document.
- Recipients can view and download the file from the page.
- It stops working immediately if you revoke it or the document is trashed.
Good to know
Notes share the same way, the recipient sees the note's text. Passwords on share links are part of the paid plans; an expiry, revoke, and the access log are on every plan. See Passwords and expiry.
Tip
Every link you make is listed in the share registry, where you can copy, audit, or revoke it later.
