What a recipient sees
The other side of a share link: no account, just the document, and nothing else.

A share link is designed to be effortless for the person you send it to, and to expose nothing beyond the one thing you shared.
Opening the link
- They open the URL in any browser, no Stoatify account and no sign-up.
- If you set a password, they're asked for it first.
- They can view the document inline and download a copy.
- A collection link shows the list of matching documents, each openable the same way.
What they cannot do
- They see only what you shared, not your vault, your other documents, or your categories.
- They can't edit anything, or see who else has the link.
- The moment you revoke the link or it expires, it stops working for everyone.
Good to know
Links are served over HTTPS at an unguessable address, and repeated password guesses are rate-limited. See How Stoatify protects your data.
