Two timelines help a team see what's happening: the activity feed for document changes, and the audit log for administrative actions.

Activity feed
- Shows recent changes across every document you can see in the org: files replaced, due dates set, tags edited, and more.
- Each entry names who made the change, when, and the before and after.
- Available to everyone, scoped to what you're allowed to see.
Audit log
- A record of administrative actions: role changes, members invited or removed, settings and retention changes, trash emptied, and more.
- Found in the admin area, for Owners and Admins.
- The audit log is part of the Business plan.
Tip
Use the activity feed for "what changed on this document," and the audit log for "who changed the org."
