Why didn't I get a reminder?
The handful of reasons a nudge or digest stays quiet, and how to fix each.

Expecting a nudge that didn't come? It's usually one of these, and each has a quick fix.
- The document has no date set. A reminder watches a due date, document date, or custom date field. With none set, there's nothing to count down to, add the date, then the reminder.
- The lead day already passed. Reminders fire on your lead days (30, 7, 1 by default). If you added the reminder inside that window, the earlier nudges won't fire retroactively, but the next one still will.
- The channel isn't set up. For email or push, add and test the channel first. The in-app inbox always works.
- A digest found nothing new. A scheduled search set to only new stays quiet when nothing arrived since its last run. Switch it to all matches to always hear from it.
- You're in a different organization. Notifications belong to the organization you were in when you created the reminder. Switch orgs if you don't see it.
Good to know
Reminders and digests are evaluated on a schedule, so a nudge may land a little after the day begins rather than at an exact time.
Tip
Review a reminder's dates and channels any time under Settings → Automation → Reminders.
